This group started out as the memorybook group on the MSN server.  A few years ago, MSN decided to do away with its free news server so a lot of groups were deleted and looking for new homes.  I had friends on another group who were actively searching for a new location.  They found one on, what we thought, was a defunct USENET server.  When they moved, I passed the info on to the Memorybook group.  We were not getting any posts from any other servers, but apparently our posts were being picked up by USENET and we were flooding the general craft group with our SB posts.   But, to back up a little, right after finding the server, a wonderful sweet lady named Dottie (who unfortunately doesn't post here anymore) made a comment about riding the whirlwind and landing in the Emerald City.  That started our Wizard of Oz association and it has stuck ever since.  Sometimes we do get a little silly about it, but it seems to suit us
